Renato Simoncini has been playing bass since he was 19. He's not one for the front row, but rather someone who holds the band together. Calm, thoughtful, and reliable, he ensures that the foundation is solid.

When performing live, what matters to him is that the energy reaches the audience and that the sound is right: powerful and clear. He thinks in terms of structures, listens carefully, and takes responsibility for the whole.

Musically, he moves between Marillion, Depeche Mode, and Iron Maiden, remaining open but never arbitrary. Many strings when it suits, keys when necessary.

Making music with the band is like walking through a labyrinth for him - sometimes you reach the enjoyable experience directly, sometimes by detours.
